Began his musical career playing in West Coast bluegrass bands which opened for such legends as Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley. After making several pilgrimages to Louisiana in the 1990s he fell in love with Cajun music and formed The Too Loose Cajun Band, the first of it’s kind in Portland, Oregon. Now living in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dave teaches music and also plays with the Cajun band, T-Salè. He is a versatile and very talented multi-instrumentalist.
