Got his first guitar at age eight. Jam sessions at the Duhon household were a part of growing up. There he was encouraged to play whatever instrument was available and he grew to be a multi- instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, and French horn. Since majoring in music in college Jimmie has played in Lafayette, Louisiana bands of all sizes and musical styles.
